Mark Panahi

Welcome to my humble web page.

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Networks & Distributed Computing program in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine.

Check out my resume.

I am currently working on the Intelligent Accountability Middleware Architecture (LLAMA) project for service oriented architectures (SOA). Specifically, I am developing an enterprise service bus (ESB) infrastructure to continuously monitor services within an active service workflow, dynamically adapt the workflow via intelligent reconfiguration, and provide real-time capabilities through distributed resource reservation. My advisor is Prof. K.J. Lin.

"There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root."

Henry David Thoreau, Walden, 1854

"The seeker after truth should be humbler than the dust. The world crushes the dust under its feet, but the seeker after truth should so humble himself that even the dust could crush him. Only then, and not till then, will he have a glimpse of truth"

Mahatma Gandhi, The Story of My Experiments with Truth, 1929
